Chris Owen Jones has extensive experience in the film and television industry, specializing in camera work, operating, and assistance. Currently serving as a Camera Assistant at IATSE Local 600 since August 2006, Jones also works with B-Reel Films and New Deal Studios as a camera operator and assistant for visual and special effects on feature films. Freelance projects include roles as a Director of Photography for commercials and independent films, as well as various camera positions for notable companies such as Station Film and Fox Filmed Entertainment. Jones holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from UNC School of the Arts and has additional education in Music Performance, Theory, and Composition from Muskingum University.
