K. Cole Flickinger started their work experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at Ramesh C Batta Assoc in 1995. In 1996, they worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Southern Civil Engineers, Inc. (SCE). The following year, they gained experience as a Structural Engineering Intern at Gredell & Associates. In 1998, Flickinger worked as a Project Engineering Intern at Bancroft Construction Company. Since 1999, they have been the Senior Vice President of the Services Division at BPGS Construction, where they oversee pre-construction, design-build, and construction management services.
K. Cole Flickinger attended Tower Hill School from 1980 to 1994, where they received their high school diploma. Later, from 1994 to 1999, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at North Carolina State University, specializing in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. In June 1999, Flickinger obtained the certification of "Fundamentals of Engineering" from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
