Tom Inglis has extensive experience in the field of information technology and data management, currently serving as the VP of Global Compute Platforms at bp since April 2006. In this role, Tom oversees company-wide Compute technologies, including Cloud, Datacenters, High-Performance Computing, and Databases. Previous positions at bp include Head of Information & Data Management, Director of Developer Platforms, and Director of Enabling Solutions, where responsibilities ranged from managing subsurface and production data to building software platforms and IT solutions. Prior to bp, Tom worked at Accenture as a Manager, consulting on IT Systems projects for Fortune 500 companies. Tom holds an MBA in Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Michigan State University.
