Sergey Bennett is an experienced Production Engineer with a focus on optimizing oil and gas production across various companies in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Production Engineer at bp since January 2022, Sergey has previously held production engineering positions at Chevron and Noble Energy, managing over 100 producing wells and executing significant projects such as Plunger Lift and High Pressure Gas Lift initiatives. Sergey also contributed to chemical program management in the Permian and developed key operational procedures and surveillance tools. Earlier experience includes a role at Shell, where daily surveillance and well optimization for over 300 gas wells were key responsibilities. Additionally, Sergey engaged with the Society of Petroleum Engineers as a GCS YP Membership Coordinator and served as Industry Liaison for the AADE at the University of Houston, where a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering was earned.
