Sam Skerry is an accomplished executive with extensive experience at bp, serving since September 1997 in various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, and Senior Vice President of bp Launchpad and Ventures. Skerry oversees bp's Mergers & Acquisitions organization, is responsible for the corporate venture capital team, and leads efforts in originating and scaling new business technologies. Previous positions within bp include Chief Operating Officer for Natural Gas, Senior Vice President of Strategy & Commercial Development, and multiple roles in commercial development and structured products across global markets. Skerry has also contributed as a Non-Executive Director at Green Mountain Energy Company. Educational qualifications include a BA Hons in English Literature from the University of East Anglia.
