Gregory L. Engel has extensive experience in finance and accounting within the oil and gas industry, having held significant roles at BP from 1999 to present, culminating in retirement as VP and Segment Director of Upstream Finance - Systems and Processes. Engel led the implementation of a standardized SAP financial system across BP’s global Upstream operations and managed the interface between Business Unit Controllers and IT&S for finance applications. Prior to BP, Engel worked at Amoco Corporation from 1983 to 1998 in various managerial and supervisory roles, contributing to financial oversight of international and domestic upstream operations. Engel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Management with a major in Accounting from Fort Hays State University and has further education from Heriot-Watt University.
