Timothy Smith has gained extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Timothy started their career in 2014 as a Youth Counselor and Program Administrator at A Step Ahead Group, where they provided guidance and support to young individuals. In 2014, they also worked as a Para Pro/Substitute Teacher at Oak Park Preparatory Academy.

In 2015, Timothy joined Molina Healthcare as a Customer Service Representative and Claims Representative, where they resolved customer complaints and verified account information. Timothy held this role until 2018.

From 2018 to 2020, Timothy worked at Playworks as a Program Coordinator, organizing and managing various programs. Concurrently, they also served as a Program Management Specialist at Envision by WorldStrides, where they handled program management duties.

In 2020, Timothy transitioned to Atlanta Public Schools as an Educator, contributing to the learning and development of students. Timothy remained in this role until 2022.

Timothy Smith completed their secondary education and teaching degree at Wayne State University from 2006 to 2013. In 2014 and 2015, they attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College and pursued education/teaching of individuals in early childhood special education programs, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution. Additionally, Timothy Smith obtained several certifications, including being a technical support specialist from Google in December 2021, a certified mandated reporter from Playworks in August 2019, participation in the 2019 Ella Baker National training and orientation from Emmaus House in June 2019, and CDF Freedom National Training from Roane State Community College in June 2019.
