Aleksandra Skirycz currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Boyce Thompson Institute since October 2020 and has been a Project Leader/Research Group Leader at Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology since February 2015. Previously, Aleksandra held the position of Associate Researcher at Vale from October 2013 to January 2015, focusing on projects related to Growth and Photosynthesis regulation in the Bioenergy and Photosynthesis team. Prior to that, a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Fondazione Filarete involved research on lipid signaling in guard cell regulation from January 2013 to August 2013. Aleksandra gained postdoctoral experience at VIB from January 2008 to March 2012. Aleksandra earned a doctorate in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Potsdam between 2004 and 2007.
