Tshidi Vilakazi is a Senior Associate in the Competition Department at Bowmans, with experience as an Associate specializing in Competition/Antitrust law. Admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 21 July 2020, Tshidi's legal practice began as a Candidate Attorney at Bowmans, involving key responsibilities such as drafting client opinions and filing merger applications with the South African Competition Commission. Prior to joining Bowmans, Tshidi served as a Legal Secondee at Amazon and worked as a Law Researcher for Justices Patricia Goliath, Bess Nkabinde, and Jody Kollapen at the Constitutional Court of South Africa. Education includes an LLM in Commercial and Business Law and an LLB (Cum Laude), both from the University of the Witwatersrand, where Tshidi also obtained a BA (LLB) in Psychology and Law (Cum Laude).
