Sandra has held various roles, including Senior Project Manager, Regional Service Lead, and Senior Transportation Planner at companies like Bowman Consulting, McMahon, MBTA, ILTP Consulting, Masson Wilson Twinney, and Howard Stein Hudson Associates. Their work has primarily focused on transit planning and analysis.

Sandra Clarey obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography from Trinity College Dublin in 2000. Later, they completed a Master of Regional and Urban Planning at University College Dublin from 2002 to 2004.
