Murray Rode is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the venture capital and technology sectors. As a Partner and Advisor at Bow Capital since December 2019, Murray focuses on investments that connect academia, business, and entertainment to foster innovation. Previously, Murray served as a Board Member at Blue Prism until its acquisition by SS&C Technologies in March 2022, and held multiple leadership roles at TIBCO from 2005 to December 2019, including Vice Chair, CEO, COO, and CFO. Additionally, Murray co-led BowX Acquisition Corp. as Co-CEO, CFO, and director, overseeing the successful merger that established WeWork Inc. as a publicly traded company in October 2021. Murray also contributed to CallidusCloud as a Board Member prior to its acquisition by SAP in April 2018. Murray holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, earned between 1982 and 1986.
