Xun Xun serves as Principal Academic in Psychology at Bournemouth University since July 2013, leading the Multimodal Immersive NEuro-sensing (MINE) Research Cluster and overseeing the Bournemouth EEG Lab. Previously held positions include Senior Lecturer and Lecturer in Psychology at Bournemouth University, where roles encompassed leadership of the Attention, Memory & Decision Making (AMD) Group and coordination of the Research Apprenticeship Scheme. Earlier experience includes a Research Fellow position at the University of Sussex and a Research Fellow role at the University of Birmingham, along with a postdoctoral researcher position at Peking University. Xun Xun completed a PG Certificate in Education Practice from Bournemouth University (2014-2016) and obtained a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (1997-2004), along with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China (1993-1997).
