Tim Gale is an academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Interim Head of Department for Marketing, Strategy & Innovation and Principal Lecturer in Tourism Management at Bournemouth University since June 2015. Previously, Tim held various positions at the University of the West of England from September 2002 to June 2015, including Associate Head of Department and Senior Lecturer in Tourism Geography. Tim began an academic career at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, where the role of Lecturer in Tourism was undertaken from September 1994 to August 2002. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tourism from the University of Wales, a Master of Arts (MA) in Tourism and Social Responsibility from The University of St. Mark and St. John, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geography from the University of Exeter.
