Maria Francisco is a dedicated education professional with a strong background in academic advising and support. Currently serving as a Virtual College Success Advisor at Bottom Line since August 2021, Maria manages a caseload of 80 college students at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and Boston, providing comprehensive academic, financial, personal, and career guidance. Prior experience includes advising 210 seniors as a College Advisor at College Advising Corps, where Maria developed and delivered a post-secondary curriculum focused on financial aid and college readiness. Additionally, as a Guidance Intern at Sizer School, Maria gained valuable experience in student accommodations and support for grades 7-12. Maria holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fitchburg State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Counselor Education at UMass Boston.
