Kaone Kgotla Mokwena currently serves as a Teaching Assistant in Toxicology & Biosensor at Botswana International University of Science & Technology since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Sales and Marketing Officer at Agrizor (Pty) Ltd from June 2021 to July 2022, and as a Laboratory Assistant in the Molecular Biology Lab at the Department of Agricultural Research in early 2021. Additionally, Kaone has worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Zemach Avocado and completed an attachment as a Laboratory Technician in a Food Microbiology & Biotechnology Lab at the National Food Technology Research Center. Earlier work experience includes a position as a Shop Assistant at Choppies Botswana. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from Botswana International University of Science & Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Botswana University of Agriculture & Natural Resources, and a Diploma in Agriculture General from Kinneret Academic College.
