Tom Kuo has a long history of working in impact investing, with a focus on minority entrepreneurs in underserved urban areas in the United States. Tom was a founding team member at both Goldman Sachs' Urban Investment Group and General Atlantic's impact investing strategy.
At Berkshire Partners, Tom Kuo was responsible for leading investments in the consumer and retail sectors. Tom also served on the Board of Directors for several portfolio companies, including Gratitude Railroad and Mighty Earth.
