Rafael Carbunaru is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Neuromodulation at Boston Scientific. Previous roles include Vice President of Research and Development and Director of Research and Development for Emerging Indications at Boston Scientific. Prior to this, Rafael worked at Advanced Bionics as a Principal Biomedical Systems Engineer and Senior Electrical Engineer. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering with a focus on Analog and Digital Electronics from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
