Diane Hickey

Diane Hickey, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology commercialization, program management, and educational strategy. Currently serving as a Special Assistant at Boston Government Services, LLC since March 2024, Diane previously held the role of Program Director for the Small Business Innovation Research Program at the National Science Foundation, where significant contributions included launching an AR/VR Metaverse technology portfolio. Diane's entrepreneurial expertise as Principal and CEO of Diamond Chameleon Group focused on aiding scientists and engineers in business growth. Additionally, Diane has served as Principal Advisor at Larta Institute and held various leadership positions in sales, management, and strategy consulting across several organizations, including the Glazer Children's Museum and Advanced Diamond Technologies, Inc. Diane holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
