Joshua Geating currently serves as an Associate Director at Boston Dynamics, focusing on technical and managerial work related to actuation for the Atlas robot since July 2018. Prior to this role, Joshua was a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at the Naval Research Laboratory, where responsibilities included robotics and spacecraft mechanisms from March 2011 to June 2018. Joshua also gained early experience as a Production Intern at Southco, Inc. in 2010 and as an Intern at Polysciences, Inc. in 2009. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, completed in 2013, and attended Philadelphia Biblical University-Wisconsin Wilderness from 2008 to 2009.
