Bart Hooiveld is an experienced Project Manager at Boskalis Nederland, currently overseeing the Meanderende Maas project, focused on strengthening dikes to meet new safety standards. Previously, Bart served as a Tender Manager at Boskalis and as Cluster Leader for Design & Innovation at the Alliantie Markermeerdijken, managing innovative dike strengthening techniques. Bart has held various roles at Boskalis, including Deputy Manager in the Hydronamic Engineering Department, where responsibilities included general management and project oversight. Bart’s career also encompasses significant positions in geotechnical engineering, such as Senior Geotechnical Engineer for the Khalifa Port Project in Abu Dhabi and Head of the Geotechnical Department for the JV Ras Laffan Port Expansion Project in Qatar. Bart holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
