Olaf Cochoy is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in engineering and management roles within the Bosch Group. Currently serving as General Manager for the Business Unit Power Electronics and Senior Vice President, Olaf Cochoy has also held key positions including Head of Engineering for Electrical Drives and Vice President in the Office of the CEO at Robert Bosch GmbH since 2019. Prior to this, Olaf Cochoy worked at Bosch Rexroth, where responsibilities included leading engineering for mobile applications in China and overseeing technical product management for mobile control valves. Earlier career experience includes roles in advanced engineering and innovation at Bosch Rexroth and a PhD research assistantship focused on aircraft systems engineering at TU Hamburg-Harburg. Educational credentials comprise a Bachelor’s degree in General Engineering Sciences from Technische Universitaet Hamburg-Harburg and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, specializing in Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems.
