Matthias Wichmann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sensor technology and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Bosch Sensortec GmbH, Matthias leads a specialized team focused on MEMS-based environmental consumer sensors. Prior to this role, Matthias worked at Bosch as a Research Engineer in Optical Technologies, where responsibilities included the development of optical sensor systems and leading a team of experts in coherent optical sensors. Additional experience includes a position as a Subsystem Engineer at OHB System AG and a research associate while pursuing a PhD at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Matthias holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics from the Philipp University of Marburg, as well as degrees in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and Rice University.
