Leo Rantanen is an accomplished legal professional specializing in EU and Competition Law. Since February 2022, Leo has been serving as an Associate at Borenius, following a tenure as an Associate Trainee in the same field. Prior experience includes roles as a Legal Trainee focusing on Lending at Nordic Investment Bank from February 2021 to January 2022, and earlier positions within the same institution's Administrative Legal Department and at SATO, where Leo held various legal and project-related roles. Leo's academic background includes a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics, an LLM in European Law from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Tallinn University. Additionally, recognition of a foreign LL.M. degree as comparable to a Finnish Master of Laws degree was obtained from the University of Turku.
