Venetia Spencer is a seasoned professional in sustainability and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of Sustainability Public Affairs for Borealis since March 2022. Previously, Venetia held the position of Secretary General for the Polyolefin Circular Economy Platform from January 2019 to March 2022, focusing on advancing the circular economy for polyolefin products. With extensive experience in environmental and energy policy, Venetia worked at Burson-Marsteller Brussels as Team Leader for Environment & Energy and as Deputy-Chair for EMEA Corporate Purpose from December 2008 to December 2018. Additional roles include serving as a founding member of ecpa2.0, an Account Executive at Ogilvy Public Relations, and a Policy Assistant in the European Parliament. Venetia's educational background includes a degree from Imperial College London and participation in the Prince of Wales' Business & Sustainability Programme at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
