Roland Wallmannsberger is a Senior Process Engineer at Borealis, where employment began in October 2017, following a role as a Production Engineer. Prior to Borealis, Roland served as a Project Manager at CES Clean Energy Solutions from 2014 to October 2017 and completed a Master Thesis Project at VTU Engineering that focused on Risk Analysis for an ontology-based Expert System in 2013. Previous experience includes being a Plant Engineer at Scheuch GmbH from October 2011 to February 2013 and conducting a Bachelor Thesis Project on the optimization of industrial dryers at Wintersteiger AG in 2011. Roland's career commenced at Sony DADC, where work as a Production and Automation Engineer spanned from June 2004 to August 2008. Academically, Roland holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Plant Construction and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Process Engineering and Production from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, along with experience at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in 2010.
