Sheena Denneny currently serves as the Head of Marketing Strategy & Communications at Bord na Móna since July 2023. Prior to this role, Denneny held the position of Head of Communications at the Department of Communications, Climate Action & Environment from September 2018 to July 2023. Denneny's extensive experience in marketing and communications includes significant roles as Business Director at Rothco and Group Account Director at Publicis Dublin, where management of multi-disciplinary teams delivered effective communications for prominent clients like Bord Gáis Energy and Nestlé. Early career positions included Account Manager at Irish International Proximity and Account Executive at Dialogue, with a foundation as a Primary School Teacher. Denneny holds an MSc in Advertising from DIT Aungier Street and a BSc in Education from St. Patrick's College, along with a qualification in effectiveness and measurement from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA).
