Shannon Wilson, BA, LLB, is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Talent Advisory - Legal at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP since June 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon spent nearly nine years at Lindsey MacCarthy LLP, where responsibilities evolved from an Associate specializing in private equity and corporate finance to Partner in Corporate & Employment Law, and later as Director of Legal Talent. Key achievements include overseeing full-cycle recruitment, developing DEI practices, and establishing the Employment Law group. With earlier experience at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP focusing on corporate finance and M&A, along with foundational roles at McLeod Law LLP and Pengrowth Corporation, Shannon has cultivated a robust legal expertise complemented by a strong academic background from the University of Calgary and the University of Saskatchewan.
