Sampath Kariyawasam is an experienced professional in the energy and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as the Production & Maintenance Manager at Boral since May 2021, overseeing the Marulan South Lime processing plant. Previously, Sampath worked as a Power Plant Engineer at Veolia Australia and New Zealand, managing operations at the Woodlawn Bio Energy facility. Prior to that, Sampath held the position of General Manager at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power in Sri Lanka, contributing to wind turbine manufacturing, and served as General Manager of Operations & Projects at Aitken Spence, where responsibilities included overseeing power plants and managing project life cycles. Earlier experience includes roles as Deputy General Manager - Projects and Power Plant Manager within Aitken Spence and as an Electrical Engineer at LTL Holdings.
