Head Of Financial Solutions at Booster NZ

Sean Morrison has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on roles in banking and financial solutions. Sean is currently the Head of Financial Solutions at Booster NZ, where they have been working since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sean was the Senior Commercial Manager at Booster NZ from September 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining Booster NZ, Sean served as a Non-Executive Director at Banzpay starting in November 2022.

From November 2019 to September 2021, Sean worked at Air New Zealand as the Senior Manager Financial Partners and Commercial. During this time, they were responsible for strategic partner management, product strategy, delivery, and commercial oversight. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Manager, Financial Partners and Product at Air New Zealand from August 2016 to November 2019, where they led the strategic partner management of Financial Partners within the Loyalty business along with product management ownership of multi-currency prepaid.

Sean also has experience working at ANZ, where they held various senior management roles. These roles included Senior Manager, Consumer and Commercial Cards from February 2016 to August 2016, Senior Manager Commercial and Prepaid Cards from April 2013 to February 2016, Senior Manager, Product Operations from November 2011 to April 2013, Senior Business Project Manager from June 2008 to November 2011, and Mobile Mortgage Manager from July 2006 to July 2008.

Throughout their career, Sean has demonstrated expertise in product management, partner management, strategic planning, negotiation, and commercial performance in the financial industry.

Sean Morrison attended The University of Auckland from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Business Administration. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1998, they attended Auckland University of Technology, where they studied Hospitality Management and Business. Sean also obtained a certification in Residential Property Lending from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand in 2023.
