Vladimir Aleksiev has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on product development and management. Vladimir is currently an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators, and previously served as the Director of Software Development at NEON Program, where they led a team of 70 agile scrum professionals in the design, development, and implementation of systems to support the delivery and publication of 180 complex scientific data products.

Prior to their work at NEON Program, Vladimir served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) & VP at DigitalGlobe, where they were responsible for developing a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap to align data product software development and IT infrastructure/service management. Vladimir also provided technology, systems, and enterprise architecture consulting throughout DigitalGlobe, helping scientists, technical personnel, and program managers improve processes and better leverage technology.

Before joining DigitalGlobe, Vladimir worked as a Product Development Management Consultant at PwC, where they provided consulting services to clients in the technology industry. Vladimir also served as a Design/Application Engineer and Product Manager at Intel Corporation, where they were responsible for the design and development of new products.
