Morley McBride is an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators. Prior to that, they were an adjunct professor of policy at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service from September 2012 to January 2013. Morley was also a business development strategist at IDEO from October 2011 to August 2013.
From July 2010 to May 2011, McBride was a producer for NBC News' Education Nation, overseeing the Learning Plaza and Education Nation Experience. Morley also worked as a marketing associate for Preserve in June 2009 and as the education and public programs manager for the Aspen Art Museum from July 2005 to July 2008.
McBride began their career as a research and consulting fellow with Rocky Mountain Institute's Integrated Design Practice Team in 2005. Morley also served as the institute's communications associate and public information intern from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they worked as an executive/administrative assistant at BBDO West from September 2002 to May 2003 and as a field marketing representative for Nantucket Nectars from September 2002 to December 2002.
Morley McBride has a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College, where they majored in Environmental Studies & Geography. Morley also studied abroad for a semester at the University of St Andrews. After college, they attended the Chewonki Foundation for a semester, where they studied ecology and environmental studies. Morley then attended the Roaring Fork Leadership Academy, where they graduated from the leadership program. Currently, they are working on their User Experience (UX) Design Summer Intensive Certificate Program at New York University.
