John Belanger, PE, is an experienced electrical engineer and construction manager with a strong background in substation design and electrical engineering consulting. Currently, John serves as an Electrical Engineer and Construction Manager at the Bonneville Power Administration since April 2017, where John also held the position of Lead Electrical Engineer. Additionally, John is the owner of JBEC: John Belanger Electrical Consulting, providing consulting services for commercial, industrial, and electrical utility engineering since July 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Contract Electrical Engineer at Bonneville Power Administration's Department of Energy, electrical engineering at Evergreen EDC, and an internship at Portland General Electric. John holds a B.S. in Renewable Energy Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maine.
