Richard Crowley is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and engineering. Currently, Richard serves as Principal at Source & Binary since June 2020, while also advising multiple companies, including ReadySet Technology, Inc., BOLDstart Ventures, and Smallstep. Previously, Richard held various senior roles at Slack from April 2014 to January 2020, including Principal Engineer and Director of Operations, and contributed as a Customer Advisory Board member at Amazon Web Services (AWS) during a similar timeframe. Additionally, Richard has a foundation in operations management from leadership positions at Betable and Opsmatic, as well as entrepreneurial experience as the founder of DevStructure. Richard holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis and completed secondary education at Danville High School.
