Heather L. Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Heather L. began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at The Healthcare Forum, a non-profit organization focused on healthcare education, where they handled public relations and contributed to a national study. Heather then worked as a Prepress Editor at Samuel Weiser, Inc., a book publishing firm, where they managed the production process and collaborated with authors. Heather L. later transitioned to a role as a Quality Assurance Editor at Teletutor/Cooper & Associates, Inc., where they oversaw the project management and editorial feedback for technical computer courses.

In 1998, Heather joined Unitil Service Corp. as a Senior Community Development Specialist, where they established and managed a corporate philanthropy program, including event coordination, volunteer recruitment, and budget oversight. Heather L. also worked as a Freelance Communications and Project Manager at Night Sky Press, providing various client services such as writing, editing, fundraising, and event coordination.

Heather then served as an Academic Advisor at Southern New Hampshire University, where they provided support and guidance to new online students using data analytics. Afterward, they joined Dover Adult Learning Center as a Marketing/Program Assistant, responsible for social media and marketing efforts, as well as providing support to students for registration and counseling.

Currently, Heather is working as a Business Support Specialist at Boldly Subscription Staffing, a remote staffing company. In this role, they offer project management support and handles various writing and distribution tasks, utilizing a range of remote work software tools.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and project management skills in both remote and in-person environments.
