Spencer Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as an Account Executive and Project Coordinator at BrainSpark Media. From 2011 to 2012, they served as an Account Executive at rabble+rouser. In 2012, Smith joined ICF Olson, where they held various positions, including Director of Marketing Strategy. During their time at ICF Olson, they managed national advertising relationships, led loyalty and CRM programs, and developed new business strategies. In 2016, they joined Optum as a Brand Manager, and in 2017, they transitioned to Bold Orange, where they have taken on increasing levels of responsibility, including serving as the Vice President of Strategic Growth.
Spencer Smith holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Denver. Spencer also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Spencer has obtained a certification in Design Thinking: Understanding the Process from LinkedIn. Additionally, they have completed several specializations in Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation, Strategic Leadership & Management, and Value Chain Management from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
