Ruby Schmelzer is an accomplished Senior HR Business Partner at bol.com, where since July 2021, Ruby has been integral to shaping a Product Led organization within a 450 FTE Product department. Prior experience includes serving as an HR Business Partner at bol.com and as a Member of the Supervisory Board at UniPartners Rotterdam. Additionally, Ruby held various HR roles at EY, including HR Advisor and Talent Acquisition Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed strategic HR advisory and recruitment. Ruby's academic background includes a Master of Science in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by further education in business and strategic HRM. Ruby's diverse experience also includes earlier roles in recruitment, acting, and management within consultancy and theater.
