Gururaja Rao is a Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at bol.com since October 2023, with a prior role at AutoFill Technologies B.V. from January 2021 to September 2023, where Gururaja was involved in the research and development of an automated vehicle inspection model utilizing multi-sensor data, and deploying models in GCP. Earlier experience includes serving as an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Vision Specialist at Mavisoft from September 2019 to December 2020, focused on creating custom AI models for industrial infrastructure, and as a Machine Vision Intern at 3DUniversum where Gururaja specialized in figure-ground segmentation. In addition to technical roles, Gururaja worked as a Teaching Assistant at UvA for various courses and was a Research Development Software Engineer at MulticoreWareInc, developing client-specific face recognition models.
