Hampus Bengtsson has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Hampus began their career as a pyrotechnician at Goteborgs FyrverkeriFabrik and then as a lab assistant in Machine Oriented Programming at Chalmers University of Technology in 2012. In the same year, they also did vacation work as a software developer at Ides AB. In 2011, they did vacation work at Linkoping University, where they worked on web content and network infrastructure. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a developer at Blue Mobile Systems AB and SpeedLedger, where they focused on their master's thesis. In 2017, they began working as a developer at Bokio, where they are currently developing the bookkeeping service.

Hampus Bengtsson attended Folkungaskolan from 2001 to 2007, Berzeliusskolan from 2007 to 2010, and Chalmers University of Technology from 2010 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science: Algorithms, Languages and Logic.
