Lara Scamardo started their work experience in 2013 as a First Grade Teacher at Henderson Elementary. Lara then transitioned to become a Kindergarten Teacher at the same school in May 2013. Lara continued to work in this role until June 2017. In 2017, Lara joined Boerne ISD as a Kindergarten Teacher and is currently in this position.

Lara Scamardo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Texas A&M University, where they attended from 2010 to 2012.
