Lissa Eng, currently serving as the Renewable Energy National Communications Lead at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since April 2022, specializes in enhancing public understanding of offshore wind leasing and development. Prior experience includes roles as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Health Resources and Services Administration, where Lissa designed nationwide communication strategies, and at the Bureau of Land Management, which involved managing digital platforms and social media campaigns. Lissa also contributed as a Communications Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution and as Economic Development Associate at SCIDpda, focusing on supporting small businesses. Earlier experiences include service with AmeriCorps VISTA and a Project Assistant position at USDA, along with an internship at International Justice Mission. Lissa holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Development and Business Management from the University of St Andrews and completed a business certificate program at the University of Washington.
