Emma Chaiken is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in analyzing chemical and energy industries, currently employed at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since July 2020. Prior to this role, Emma served as an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics from January 2017 to July 2020, focusing on high-visibility industries and guiding tax policy recommendations at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from September 2014 to January 2017. Emma's background includes work as an antitrust paralegal at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and various internships in the U.S. Senate, where legislative research and drafting were primary responsibilities. Emma holds a Master's Degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with a minor in Public Policy from Wheaton College.
