Connie Gillette has extensive experience in communications and public affairs, currently serving as the Chief of Community Engagement and Partnerships for Renewable Energy at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since April 2013. Previous roles include Chief of the Office of Communications at the Bureau and Communication Specialist at the DoD Education Activity. Gillette's career spans various positions within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Army, including roles such as Public Affairs Officer and Chief of Strategic Communication. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis on PR and Advertising, and Radio and Television from Morehead State University, along with additional studies at Troy University and the University of South Carolina.
