Justin Holmquest began their work experience in 2017 as a Windows System Administrator for the United States Air Force. Justin held this role until June 2023. In 2022, they joined Boeing Intelligence & Analytics as a Linux System Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining over 50 applications and various services in the Microservice Environment, managed through AWS C2S Instance Servers and configured using Saltstack. Justin conducted troubleshooting in AWS instances using the Linux Command Line and deployed and tested application updates and rpm pushes to meet government requirements.

Justin Holmquest attended Western Governors University from 2020 to 2024, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Multi-Cloud Computing. In addition to their degree, Justin obtained several certifications including the CompTIA Cloud+ ce Certification from CompTIA in April 2023, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023, and the Oracle Linux 6 Implementation Essentials from the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) in January 2023. Justin also obtained the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification, and CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2022 and 2020, with specific months not provided. Justin's earliest certification is the CompTIA Security+ which they obtained in October 2017.
