Thanos Antonopoulos is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in plant maintenance and operations management. Since January 2004, Thanos has served as the Head of Engineering at Boehringer Ingelheim, responsible for evaluating new business opportunities and ensuring effective and efficient maintenance of equipment and facilities. Previously, Thanos held the position of Engineering Manager, contributing to the maintenance and operational support of production equipment and plant utilities. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager for Asset Management at Design and Application Engineers S.A. and Quality Assurance Engineer at S.O.E., along with a role as Assets Valuer Engineer. Thanos holds a Diploma in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, obtained between 1994 and 2000.
