Luise Descovich, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the field of oncology and molecular biology, currently serving as the Scientific Director of Competitive R&D Intelligence Oncology at Boehringer Ingelheim. With previous roles including Principal Scientist in Competitive Intelligence Oncology at Boehringer Ingelheim and Medical Science Liaison positions at both Amgen and AbbVie, Luise brings extensive industry experience. Additionally, Luise has served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health and has experience as a Project Manager for Clinical Trials at ABCSG. Luise holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Universität Wien, awarded in 2009, and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the same institution, completed in 2006.
