Johanna Jarmer serves as the Head of Unit for Virus and Mycoplasma Testing in Quality Control at Boehringer Ingelheim since October 2022, and is also a Lecturer at FH Campus Wien since June 2020. Previously, Johanna Jarmer held roles at Boehringer Ingelheim from February 2018 to October 2021, including Head of Unit for Virology and Scientist in Process Science Molecular Biology. A former Postdoctoral researcher at Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, experience also includes work as a Research Associate at Institut Pasteur de Lille and as a Biosafety Officer Deputy at the Department of Virology, Medical University of Vienna, overseeing biosafety level 3 laboratories. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Virology/Immunology from the Medical University of Vienna and a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna.
