Frederic Buono is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in chemical process research and development. Currently serving as the Director of Technology & Process Research at Boehringer Ingelheim since February 2012, Frederic leads multidisciplinary functions including Continuous Flow Chemistry and Digitalization. Prior to this role, Frederic held various senior positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where significant contributions included implementing systematic methodologies for process evaluation and optimization through a comprehensive understanding of physical and organic chemistry. Frederic's educational background includes a Post-Doctorate in Physical Organic Chemistry from Hull University and degrees in Chemical Engineering and Organic Chemistry from Centrale Méditerranée and Centrale Marseille, respectively.
