Marcelo Oliver is a seasoned professional in the field of medical illustration and education, currently serving as President and Owner of Body Scientific since 2005, a design studio known for custom medical illustrations, anatomical charts, 3D models, and mobile applications for clients, including textbook publishers and pharmaceutical companies. Previously, Marcelo held the position of President at Denoyer-Geppert Science Company, where successful turnaround efforts led to business expansion, and worked as Director of Marketing at HeartSine Technologies, contributing to the development and launch of the Samaritan AED. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Marketing at Medical Research Laboratories and Creative Director at Anatomical Chart Company. Marcelo holds an MFA in Medical and Biological Illustration and Communications from the University of Michigan, a BA in Art and Biology from the University of Mount Union, and further education from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
