Shawn Ellis has a wealth of experience in the software engineering and IT field. Their most recent role at Boats Group is as a Senior Software Engineer, which they began in May 2021. Prior to this, Shawn worked at Infogix for over 13 years as a System Architect, starting in January 2007 and continuing until January 2020. Before that, they were employed at Destiny Health, where they held two positions: IT Manager from 2004 to 2007, and Configuration Manager from 2003 to 2004. Shawn's earlier experience includes a role as Development Manager at onDemand LLC from 1998 to 2003, where they achieved notable accomplishments such as creating a Java-based roll-up engine and rescuing an older architecture. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Dazel Corp. from 1995 to 1998 and as an Associate Computer Scientist at Secure Computing from 1994 to 1995. Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated expertise in various roles and has contributed to the development and improvement of software systems.

Shawn Ellis attended the University of Minnesota from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Their primary fields of study were Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as Computer Science.
