Shannon Hobbs currently serves as Chief People Officer at BNY, a role commenced in June 2024, following a tenure as Chief People Officer at GEICO from March 2022 to June 2024. Prior to these positions, Shannon held significant HR leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and CHRO at American Century Investments and various Managing Director positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where responsibilities encompassed developing firmwide global talent strategies and HR operations across multiple divisions. Shannon's extensive experience also includes key HR roles at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Citi, where strategic oversight and management of large HR teams were pivotal. Shannon holds a BA in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and a Master's in Organizational Development from Golden Gate University.
